Welcome to Riverside Rescue of Virginia

Riverside is a no-kill, all-volunteer group that rescues unwanted cats and places them in loving foster and permanent homes. We prefer to take cats from shelters, but will occasionally accept give-ups. The cats are availble for viewing online and in person at one of our many weekend adoption events.All of our cats are spayed/neutered and have all required vaccinations.

Riverside is an all-volunteer organization. 100% of donations go directly toward the care and placement of our cats.

Riverside Rescue urgently needs a vehicle in order to transport our equipment and residents to adoption events. Please call 703.785.2818 if you can help.

Wish List: If you have any of the items below or would like to donate toward them, please contact us!

1. Funds to replace our broken cages.
2. A van to carry our supplies or a shed to store carriers, etc.
3. hand cart or flat bed cart to save our backs from carring cages in and out of store.
4. All-in-one fax/copier/printer.
5. Cat carriers.
6. Towels or rugs to line the metal cages.
7. Bags of inexpensive dry food for feral cats.

*Volunteers and foster parents URGENTLY NEEDED!!* If you have the time in your schedule or room in your home and a lot of love to give to a homeless kitty, please let us know! We also need volunteers at adoption events to help setting up cages, caring for the animals, and taking down the cages.
